Congratulations to Vanessa and Yuan for receiving the AHA Predoctoral Fellowship!

The American Heart Association (AHA) Predoctoral Fellowship aims to enhance the integrated research and clinical training of promising students who are matriculated in pre-doctoral or clinical health professional degree training programs and who intend careers as scientists, physician-scientists or other clinician-scientists, or related careers aimed at improving global cardiovascular, cerebrovascular and brain health.

YiRan (Vanessa) Li, a second-year PhD student co-advised with Dr. Gordana Vunjak-Novaković, was awarded the 2026 AHA Predoctoral Fellowship.

Yuan (Kevin) Li, a second-year PhD student, was awarded the 2026 AHA Predoctoral Fellowship.
